How Can I Help?
There are many ways to help the Dallas Ecological Foundation in its quest toward wildlife conservation and the education of the next generation.
CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS:
Monetary Contributions: Your monetary gift is always welcome. The Dallas Ecological Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation offering beneficial tax advantages to donors. So your gift can help the foundation achieve its goals of conservation and education while providing potential tax benefits to you.
Trophy Donations: Are you looking to downsize your trophy room? Trophy donations are welcomed by the Dallas Ecological Foundation. Trophies are sold either at auction or directly to respected outdoor retailers.
Land and Other Assets: The Dallas Ecological Foundation welcomes the donation of land and other real assets.(Please consult your tax Professional for advice on valuation and deductibility.)
Planned Giving: Your planned or future gift integrates your generosity with your overall financial, tax, and estate planning goals to maximize benefits to both you and the Dallas Ecological Foundation, helping to ensure that the foundation’s mission is fulfilled for years to come.
Firearm Donations:* If you want to downsize your gun safe or have some firearms that your can spare, the Dallas Ecological Foundation welcomes your donation of unwanted firearms. Firearm donations are sold by Dallas Ecological Foundation through licensed firearms dealers.
*All donations, transfers and sales of firearms are conducted in accordance with all local, state and federal firearm laws. Donations from outside of the state of Texas must be made through your local Federal Firearm License holder or licensed dealer.
All firearms donated to the Dallas Ecological Foundation are IRS tax deductible charitable contributions to the extent allowed by law, please consult your tax professional for advice on valuation and deductibility.
Firearms donated will be sold through a federally licensed firearm dealer, with Dallas Ecological Foundation receiving the proceeds, less sales commission, of the sale. All purchasers will be required to complete ATF Form 4473 and NICS check will be conducted.
Donated firearms should be delivered to the Dallas Ecological Foundation office, empty ammunition, and with the actions open. At the time of delivery the donor will receive a receipt showing delivery of the specific firearm, type, manufacturer, caliber or gauge, condition, and serial number.
Donor will receive a letter from Dallas Ecological Foundation confirming the donation as to date, type of firearm, gauge or caliber, optics and serial number.
